Summit customer Mr. Antônio Clarete Guimarães Filho is the Supervisor of Engineering and Manufacturing at Gardner Denver Nash located in São Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Clarete commented “The Summit VBM DCV120 is a good machine that has been very helpful in machining large parts, because of its rigidity and capacity. He continued “With a chuck of 3 meters and the tool holder of 3.5 m height we have various types of machined parts, various materials such as iron and stainless steel. The Pendant Control Panel with built in DRO display and use of linear scales on all axes and digital rulers make its operation simple. Its rigidity has also collaborated to guarantee the product’s specifications in addition to contributing to the low maintenance, thereby increasing machine availability for production.”
